2. Website access and hosting by STRATO
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Cloudflare and the previous publishing platform are no longer used to serve this website at arcorace-gelato.de.
When you access the site, STRATO processes connection data required for its operation, including your IP address, access time, requested page or file, data volume, HTTP status, browser, operating system and, where applicable, referring page. The purposes are content delivery, operational security and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable operation.
According to STRATO, visitor IP addresses are retained for a maximum of seven days to prevent attacks. IP addresses are anonymised in the access logs made available to us. Web hosting takes place in Germany. STRATO processes hosting data as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Further information: STRATO privacy information and STRATO information on data processing.
3. Cookies and cookie settings
Our website code includes no analytics or advertising trackers. There are no optional marketing or analytics cookies. Images and styling are served locally. Maps, social media content and external fonts are not embedded. There is no visitor login.
When you acknowledge the notice or save the settings, the website sets the arcorace_privacy cookie for 180 days. It contains only the notice version and the value “necessary”, with no personal identifier. It prevents repeated display of the notice and remembers your choice. The legal bases are section 25(2)(2) of the German TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete it using or your browser. Technical connection data and logs are processed independently of this cookie.
4. Languages and translations
The German, English and Italian versions are stored as separate files on the same hosting service. Language selection uses links. No cookies or browser profile are stored for this purpose. There is no automatic language redirect, external translation API or transfer of page content to a translation service during your visit.
5. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us, we process the details you provide and your message to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries. We delete enquiries once resolved unless retention obligations or legitimate grounds, such as resolving legal claims, require otherwise.
Our published email address uses Google Gmail. If you send an email, Google also processes data required for delivery and storage. Processing outside the EU or EEA, including in the United States, may occur. Information on recipients, transfers and safeguards: Google privacy policy. Merely displaying our email address does not connect your browser to Gmail.
6. External links and Google Search Console
Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps are provided only as links. Their content is not loaded automatically when you visit this site. Opening a link takes you to the provider, whose privacy information then applies: Instagram, TikTok and Google.
We use Google Search Console to manage our website’s visibility in Google Search. The verification code in this website is not a tracking script and does not load Google resources. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and advertising pixels are not embedded.
7. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You may withdraw consent with effect for the future.
Right to object: You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above.

8. Required data and automated decisions
Technical connection data is necessary to deliver the website. Providing other information when contacting us is voluntary; without sufficient information we may not be able to respond. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, under Article 22 GDPR on this website.
